Role: Stores Supervisor

Hours: 07:00 - 19:00 (5,5,4 shift)

Job Purpose
The Stores Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within our stores department, managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. You will work closely with the procurement and maintenance teams to provide essential support in managing and distributing aircraft parts and equipment efficiently and accurately.
Job Accountabilities
- Oversee the inspection of incoming and outgoing parts to ensure conformity with quality standards and work with quality control for any necessary inspections.
- Supervise, train, and support the stores team, ensuring performance, productivity, and professional development.
- Maintain stock levels through effective ordering, tracking, and record-keeping; oversee stock checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all handling and storage of parts comply with regulatory standards (EASA, FAA) and company policies
- Manage timely distribution and dispatch of parts to maintenance teams, ensuring minimal downtime
- Maintain orderly storage solutions and proper labelling of inventory to allow for easy access and retrieval of items
- Utilise ERP and inventory management systems to track parts, process orders and manage stock effectively
- Identify and implement process improvements to steamline inventory and distribution operations
- Manage tooling calibration requirements in accordance with periodic maintenance cycle
- Liaise with Safety & Compliance to ensure compliance with procedures and audits. Initiate procedure change in consultation with Logistics Manager and safety & compliance department
- Any other function as deemed necessary and suitable by the station manager and Logistics Manager
Experience:
To be considered for the role of Stores Supervisor it is important that you have the following:
- 3 years experience in an aircraft maintenance, airline environment or 5 years in a stores environment
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of Aviation standards in an airline maintenance environment.
- Understanding of the application of Stores working practices and requirements.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach to work.
- High standard of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
