Role: Licenced Aircraft Engineer

The role:
Our client is seeking Licenced Engineers to support their RAF Woodvale site.
Day to day, you’ll work together in collaboration with our customer to provide aircrafts to be used in elementary flying training and air experience flights alongside auxiliary support services such as mechanical transport, air traffic control and airfield fire and crash rescue, as well as:
- Help to drive the delivery of the flying activities at RAF Woodvale alongside your Military colleagues by taking a ‘Whole Force’ approach to our activities and ensuring excellent safety and delivery reputation is maintained at all times.
- Responsible for the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation/regulation and in line with company approvals.
- Ensure aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services are provided as required to meet and exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs at all times
Essential Experience:
- Supervisory experience in aviation environment
- EASA Part 66 B1.2 (or successfully passed a number of modules towards the qualification)
Security Clearance
- Must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for the role
