Role: Customer Service - Premium Accounts

Salary: £30,000-£31,000pa

Location: Hounslow

Hours: 8 Hour Day Monday-Friday

The role of the Customer Service - Logistics Accounts sits firmly within our core function, providing world class support to our airline customer.

Assisting in the day to day activities of the customer service department and supporting their team to the best of their abilities.

The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for assisting and supporting in the day to day activities of the Customer Service department enabling you to work with key logistics clients supporting their accounts.

This will require good time management skills, a methodical and organised approach with an ability to respond to changing priorities.

This role would suit an individual, with good attention to detail and who can work flexibly both individually and as part of a team to deliver a world class service.

Job Purpose:

Working a 8 hour day Monday to Friday, ensuring full control and administration of Customer Service based tasks linked with supporting premium clients within the logistics sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reading and understanding trace documents, attention to detail is paramount to check documentation received or generated for the purpose of the task at hand.
  • Attention to detail in visual inspection and handling of incoming and outgoing serviceable parts.
  • Ensure transactions are carried out within inhouse systems and customer systems accurately.
  • Control of all goods received, handled and despatched throughout Stores and Despatch and Transport system, with special emphasis to compliance accurate labelling and storage locations.
  • Effective communication with the customer and internal department, monitor emails and action requests/queries
  • We are looking for a person in Customer Service to manage one of our premium accounts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Previous experience knowledge of using MS word & Excel.
  • Required to complete all mandatory training courses.
  • Proven history in Customer Service Roles (Logistics Experience beneficial)
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the departmental and company procedure manual. -Ensure that I understand the Rules and Regulations of all statutory bodies.

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
  • Client Account Management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Logistics or Freight Industry: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)
