Role: AOG Stores Controller

Location: Stansted

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00 (subject to some change)

Salary: DOE

Aviation experience essential

Must have the right to live & work in the UK

Job Purpose

 

This role has two primary elements.

 

  • Will be required to react in support of AOG activity and deploy alongside the GO TEAM (if required) to assist in the efficient recovery of customer aircraft. 
  • Support the line maintenance network by managing, receiving and issuing of aircraft components and associated material to meet engineering requirements.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide all aspects of logistics functionality in support of AOG team activity.
  • Coordinating the transportation of spares, materials and tooling to/from locations as necessary.
  • Effectively manage stock, maintaining part availability whilst ensuring shelf life of components/material is not exceeded in line with customer contracts.
  • Update and maintain stock assurance data within ERP system.
  • Carry out regular stock checks, utilising ERP system, to ensure stock levels are accurately maintained.
  • Coordinate with Procurement department to ensure shortfalls are being progressed with delivery forecasts.
  • Adhere to aircraft parts Goods Receiving practises, i.e. inspection and part number verification, to ensure all parts are received in the relevant condition with the correct regulatory documentation.
  • Adhere to aircraft parts Goods Dispatching practices.
  • Maintain compliance with 3rd party Suppliers logistic procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Engineering Policy, Statutory Airworthiness requirements, Safety Standards, Company Standing Instructions and Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Assist with any other ad-hoc tasks or projects.

Qualification & Education:

·             Secondary school level

 Experience:

·             Two years stores experience within aviation (or similar industry)

·             Knowledge of AMOS and/or similar ERPs.

·             Quantum stores experience an advantage.
