Role Summary
Reporting directly to the Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM), you will be responsible for the completion of audit, and any additional oversight activities required to ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements and procedures across all company approvals and approved/new provider locations.
Responsibilities
- Support the CMM in the development of the Compliance Monitoring Programme and its implementation.
- Complete audits for regulatory compliance with regards to UK CAA Part 145, EASA Foreign Part 145 and UK CAA Part CAMO company approvals.
- Complete audits for regulatory compliance with regards to Flight Operations, Ground Operations and Crew Training and other relevant compliance department activities.
- Perform and coordinate all aspects of oversight activity in a lead auditor role including the preparation of audit scopes and checklists to ensure the required regulatory aspects are included.
- Conduct audit of external suppliers/sub-contractors/contracted providers.
- Assist with the hosting of Authority and Customer audits.
- To be pro-active in the development of the compliance monitoring system to promote a value-added service and continuous improvement of the Safety Management Systems.
- Where required, represent the CMM at internal/external meetings.
- To maintain competence and knowledge in relation to the applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor applicable regulation for change and notify the appropriate NP and CMM.
- To support NP’s and department heads in the timely resolution and closure of all audit findings and associated corrective/preventative actions.
Requirements
Technical:
- 5 years’ experience within the regulated aviation domain (Essential)
- Demonstrable experience of auditing within aviation (Essential)
- Recognised Auditor Qualification (Essential)
- Knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness Management (Part-M/CAMO) and Aircraft Maintenance (Part-145) regulation and activities (Essential)
- Knowledge of Safety Management System requirements (Essential)
- Degree of flexibility due to some UK and International travel (Essential)
- Lead aviation auditor qualification (Desirable)
- Experience/auditing of Flight/Ground Operations & Crew Training (Desirable)
- Experience with industry recognised management system tools (Desirable)
- Experience with Health and Safety auditing/inspections (Desirable)

Salary
£38,000 - £45,000
