Role: Stores Operative

Location: Gloucestershire Airport

Hours:  Full-time, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Responsibilities:

Daily Operations: Assist with the day-to-day running of the Stores department, ensuring all areas are clean and tidy.
Tooling Management: Issue, receive, and control tooling, including calibration monitoring.
Consumables Control: Manage the issuance, receipt, and control of consumables, maintaining minimum stock levels.
Aircraft Parts Handling: Issue, receive, and control aircraft parts for engineers, with attention to part numbers, serial numbers, and shelf-life items.
Inspection: Receive and inspect a wide range of aircraft parts in line with operational and stores procedures.
Warranty Management: Ensure timely return of warranty items and follow up with accounts to clear invoices.
Inventory Control: Perform inventory checks and maintain minimum stock levels.
Documentation: Ensure all log cards and parts documentation are recorded and stored correctly.
Customer Service: Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
Urgent Deliveries: Deliver urgent stores requisitions to engineers promptly.
Compliance: Ensure no materials or tooling are issued that do not comply with our procedures.
Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as required by the employer.
