Role: Document Controller

Hours: Initially Monday to Friday (full time) moving to shift pattern of 5,5,4

Accountabilities:
- To collate all technical records, work cards and airworthiness paperwork associated with all maintenance of aircraft
- To assert that all applicable completed aircraft maintenance documentation is accurate and completed correctly
- On receipt of completed cards, review for any omissions and progressively update Storm internal system to reflect work card status
- To collate and scan all completed aircraft documentation and upload to customer specified location and arranging despatch of all original paperwork
- To ensure all completed scanned documentation is archive within Storm network
- To update customer maintenance tracking to ensure that all work carried out including component replacements is accurately recorded
- To assist the Planning Department with work package compilation prior to aircraft arrival to ensure all maintenance data is present and accurate
- To perform daily meetings and produce production reports to communicate aircraft maintenance status
- Daily upkeep of departmental databases
- To assist the Engineering Support Manager with the daily operation of the planning department and supporting the day to day Production operation queries
- To provide support to the Commercial and Base Maintenance Managers in ensuring that all man hour bookings are correct and hours booked to job cards reflect the work carried out
- Ability to work under pressure to react to operational requirements and time constraints
- Liaise with Safety and Compliance to ensure compliance with procedures and audits.
- Assisting with the promotion of compliance and safety issues within the company.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A basic record of proven ability in related work
- A recognised skill base with some technical content
- Hands on experience of work related production, modification and maintenance type work (preferred)
- 2 years working in aircraft maintenance, production planning or airline environment; or
- Experience in MRO IT software, such as AMOS, OASES, Rusada etc would be an advantage but not essential
- Proven ability to work well as part of a team and proven track record in a fast pace environment.
- High standard of English language (written and oral)
- High standard of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
