Role:  B1 Aircraft Engineers – A320FAM Specialists

Location: London Gatwick Airport

Position Type: Full-Time - Flexibility to work on various shifts (including nights, weekends, and on-call if necessary)

Salary: DOE (banding £63,200 - £84,983)

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on multiple aircraft types.

· Carry out routine and non-routine inspections, troubleshooting, and rectification.

· Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

· Complete detailed technical reports and maintenance records.

· Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.

· Manage parts and materials to ensure timely availability for maintenance tasks.

· Assist in the development and continuous improvement of maintenance procedures,

· Ensure all work is performed in line with company procedures, best practices, and safety protocols.

· Support the station workload as requested.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

· UK CAA Part-66 B1 License (required) with valid ratings on the A320 family, specifically the A321 (PW1100G)

· Significant experience working as a B1 Engineer, with a strong focus on A320 series aircraft, preferably with the A321 PW1100

· Able to prove 6 months of recency on type within the past 24 months.

· Experience with aircraft systems including avionics, structures, engines, and components.

· Knowledge of relevant aviation regulations and safety procedures.

· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work well in a team, and on your own, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Full UK Driving Licence.

· Right to work in the UK (possibility for sponsorship available).
