Role:  Mechanic

Location: London Gatwick

Hours:  Day shift (5,5,4) 40 hours 

Salary: Basic plus shift.

Requirement: Aircraft Mechanics – A320FAM Specialists

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on multiple aircraft types in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of aircraft components, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards whilst ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Manage parts and materials to ensure correct recording of their use.
  • Ensure all work is performed in line with company procedures, best practices, and safety protocols.
  • Support the station workload as requested.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Have significant experience working as an aircraft maintenance mechanic, with a strong focus on A320 series aircraft, ideally the A321 PW1100.
  • Have a good knowledge of the A320FAM systems and components, including avionics, powerplants, and airframe.
  • Have experience with aircraft systems including avionics, structures, engines, and components.
  • Ability to work well in a team, and on your own, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work on various shifts (including nights, weekends, and on-call if necessary).
  • Willing to collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of aircraft maintenance tasks.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
